Who is responsible for your data?
Helén Wigh is the data controller for the personal data collected via helenwigh.se. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, you are welcome to get in touch via the contact form.
The newsletter
When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored so that I can send you news about my books, releases and events. The newsletter is sent using the MailPoet service. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email, and your address will then be removed from the list.
The contact form
When you send a message via the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to me by email. The information is used only to reply to your message and is not kept longer than necessary for that purpose. Messages are also stored in the website’s administration panel and are deleted when no longer needed. To protect the form against automated spam, Google reCAPTCHA is used, which may collect technical information about your browser. Read more in Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies
The website only uses the cookies needed for it to work. No cookies are used for advertising or to track you across other websites. To see how many people visit the website, a simple visitor statistics tool is used that does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data. The statistics are stored on the website and are not shared with anyone.
Links to other websites
The website contains links to bookshops, audiobook services and social media, among others. When you follow such a link, that website’s own terms for handling your data apply.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to know what data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to how it is used. Contact me via the contact form and I will help you. If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you can contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
